Blach'n Smile Automix teeth whitening treatment

The most noticeable results are achieved primarily in our patients whose teeth are discoloured due to regular smoking, drinking red wine or coloured soft drinks.

For patients with yellowish and brownish discolouration, the best results are achieved with the Blach'n Smile Automix plasma whitening treatment.

Root-treated, greyish discolouration can also be visibly improved but specialised treatment is required to achieve the optimal colour.

TEETH WHITENING: THE SECRET TO A CHARMING SMILE

A stranger smiling at us in the street, a receptionist greeting us with a broad smile and the intimate, unmistakable smile of our loved ones - there is much to be said about the special power of a smile. Behind every smile lies a story, a moment of joy that is etched in our memories. A confident and relaxed smile requires that we are satisfied with the state of our teeth that gleam when we smile, otherwise our inhibitions about smiling can rob us of moments of joy.

Today, teeth whitening is one of the most popular procedures in aesthetic dentistry. Teeth also play a key role in creating a first impression: the sight of stained, discoloured teeth can be disappointing, indicating poor oral hygiene or a lack of attention, while snow-white, well-groomed teeth are a magnet for the eye and trigger positive associations.

WHEN IS IT RECOMMENDED TO UNDERGO TEETH WHITENING TREATMENT?

Teeth whitening can be a solution to improve the aesthetic condition of discoloured teeth. Tooth discolouration is mainly influenced by genetic predisposition, also dietary and lifestyle habits. Foods and drinks with colouring properties, such as coffee, red wine, soft drinks and nicotine, can over time penetrate the lower layers of tooth enamel where they cannot be removed by simple brushing.

Yellowish-brown discolouration can be effectively treated with LED whitening but greyish discolouration caused by root canal treatment requires a special internal whitening procedure. Whitening is only effective on your own teeth: dentures, crowns and fillings will not be lightened by the treatment. If you have dentures, whitening is not a problem but for a uniform appearance, it is advisable to replace them after treatment.

WHAT TO DO BEFORE AND AFTER TEETH WHITENING?

A dental check-up always precedes teeth whitening. If the dentist determines that you need a filling, root canal, scaling or other treatment that will affect the colour of your teeth, you should have it done before you have your teeth whitened.

Brushing is not allowed for a few hours after whitening, as it can easily damage the top layer of tooth enamel which has softened during the procedure and which will regain its original hardness after a short time and be able to protect the teeth against external influences. It is also recommended to avoid food and drinks containing colouring agents for a few days. Any slight tooth sensitivity after treatment should subside within a few days.

CLINICAL TEETH WHITENING IN BUDAPEST

In our practice located in the centre of Budapest, we use LED light teeth whitening, considered the most modern and safest procedure in the range of teeth whitening methods. Thanks to the innovative technology and our trained dental team, the procedure is completely painless, does not cause any dental problems and does not damage the tooth enamel.

The gums and sensitive areas around the teeth are covered with a special protective material and a whitening gel is applied to the teeth, which is then illuminated by LED light. The clinical teeth whitening brightens the colour of your teeth by several shades and restores your sparklingy white, irresistible smile.

THE STEPS OF CLINICAL TEETH WHITENING

  1. Prior to the teeth whitening treatment, the teeth are thoroughly cleaned and, if deemed necessary, tartar is removed.

  2. After the mouthpiece is fitted, a light-curing, special protective material is applied to the gum and to the surrounding soft tissue.

  3. Both the patient and the doctor are given protective goggles.

  4. Whitening consists of 15-minute cycles. A whitening gel is applied to the teeth, which is activated by LED light and dissolves discolouration on the tooth surface and in the deeper layers. At the end of each cycle, a new whitening agent is applied and the condition of the protective material is checked.
