Ultrasonic scaling
Tartar is one of the most common causes of tooth loss and periodontal disease. Therefore, its regular removal is very important.
Dental scaling (depuration) uses ultrasonic frequency vibrations to remove plaque, tartar and other deposits. The time it takes for tartar to rebuild depends on your eating habits, the composition of your saliva and, most importantly, your oral hygiene but it is advisable to have it checked at least twice a year.
