DENTAL VEENERS
Dental veeners, porcelain veeners
Porcelain veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin layers, custom-made by a dental technician, which are bonded to the teeth by the dentist. Veneers are the best possible solution for the aesthetic and functional correction of irregularly shaped, worn, chipped or discoloured teeth.
The great advantage of porcelain veneers is that they can be made with no loss of the teeth structure or with minimal loss of teeth structure (by brushing or grinding with a special material).
Porcelain veneers are similar to half crowns, but much thinner!

A dental veneer is a thin porcelain flap that fits over the front surface of the tooth. The porcelain veneer is made in a dental laboratory, so the position of the veneer is designed in advance. This means that the surface of the tooth is slightly roughened and de-salivated which is completely painless as local anaesthetic is used.
